Since 2011, Natalie's Crew has participated in 2 Buddy Walks each year! One is the Boardwalk Buddy Walk (BBW) in Rehoboth, DE and the other the Buddy Walk at University of Delaware (BW).
The first weekend in October is the BBW consisting of a weekend long festivities. The 'Buddy Fest' kicks off Friday including discount at certain outlets and stores and a party at the Lions Club. The party consists of great food, raffles, and a silent auction. And most importantly, catching up with everyone! Saturday morning rolls around and the biggest event commences! Groups meet by the pavilion, opening ceremonies begin, and we're off! Strut your stuff down the board walk and cheer on everyone! The Buddy Blast and Buddy Hop follows at the band stand where people can show their talents! Sales continue through the day if you're wearing your Buddy Walk shirt! Enjoy a fiesta dinner at Mariachi's Restaurant to conclude the day!!
Sometime in May is the annual Buddy Walk at University of Delaware Athletic Complex. A long day of festivities including face painting, moon bounces/slides, music, raffles, food and so much more! Pitch a tent or two, gather your walkers and do some laps!! Cheer us on and help us win the team spirit award or most creative!
